Justin Kirk to Visit "Modern Family"

The guest stars of "Modern Family" are just superb.  Now Justin Kirk too, is set for an episode this spring according to TV Fanatic.  He will play the role of Lee Keizler, a business owner of a clothing company.  Mitchell will quit his law firm and work under Keizler's company as its legal council.

Justin Kirk played the part of Andy Botwin in the TV series "Weeds".  Before "Weeds", he was casted as Prior Walter in the Mike Nichols-directed adaptation of "Angels in America" and received a SAG and an Emmy nomination for Best Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries in 2004.

Rico Rodriguez and RAR Clothing Collection

Inside the 2010 SAG Awards, William Keck has gathered some news about our favorite shows.  One of them is for Modern Family's cute and smart Rico Rodriguez and his collection of clothing line called RAR.

Modern Family's Rico Rodriguez, who plays Gloria's fashionable Columbian son, Manny, said his conservative casino may not have met with his character's approval. "Manny would have probably spiced up this look with some color from his Columbian culture," offered Rico. "Perhaps a fancy shirt." Somehow it didn't surprise me when the very grown-up 11-year-old told me his tuxedo was from his own collection. "This is me and my sister's clothing line, called RAR If Its Fashions," said the tyke. "The RAR stands for Raini and Rico." (Incidentally sister Raini, 16, is also an actor, whohad a role in last year's big-screen hit, Paul Bart: Mall Cop.)

"Our line is made to fit all sizes," said Rico. "For children and adults. Our dad started it and nine months ago we started doing the designs." So far no ponchos are available for purchase.

Scoop from the SAG Awards Night

During the SAG Awards, Watch with Kristin on E!Online got us some scoops on the next episodes of "Modern Family".  It's about a car crash, I wonder in which episode this will be.  Here they are:

Bree in Michigan: I think Modern Family should have beat Glee at the Golden Globes! Anything coming up on the funniest show around?

No comment on the Globes talk, but quite a few car troubles ahead on Modern Family! Rico Rodriguez, who plays young prodigy Manny, told us this of his TV family at the Screen Actors Guild Awards: "Mitchell, Gloria and Manny have some fun at a cupcake shop, [then] a car crash happens!" Will Sara Hyland's Haley be involved? We're thinking maybe, after she teased this: "The big question will be: Does Haley pass her driving test or does she fail her driving test? You won't find out for awhile, but it's going to be funny!"

Matt in Pennsylvania: More Modern Family, please.

Benjamin Bratt returns as Manny's wayward—and way sexy!—dad in the Feb. 10 episode. Wonder if Jay is still upset about being stood up?

Though Modern Family did not bag the SAG Awards, for me it is still the best comedy show!  Take a peek on the list of winners during the 16th Annual SAG Awards.

Modern Family is Sure to Have a Second Season

During the winter Television Critics Association, Stephen McPherson of ABC Network has officially picked up "Modern Family", "Cougar Town", and "The Middle" for their second seasons.  Congratulations to all the crew and staff of "Modern Family", especially to the creators for a good job.  A delightful news to "Modern Family" fans because we will be seeing more of our Dunphy's, and Pritchett's for a long time.  Modern Family, has been high on the ratings, termed as most-watched new comedy this season.  Modern Family and the cast has been included in the list of nominations for the Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, Directors Guild of America, Writers Guild of America, to name a few.

Modern Family - Nominated at the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards

Our comedy Wednesday's family, Modern Family TV series is  nominated in the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards for the category Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.  A show that is so new, fresh, yet funny, natural, and practical.  Not all new shows are given a chance to reach this point, not to mention that this is a comedy show.  Modern Family is not just pure luck but it is a pool of talents that make viewers laugh their hearts out.  The difference of this award giving body is that, actors in their own field are also the ones who vote on who gets to win.  Congratulations to Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan for this nomination.
